6 cheese and bacon wraps (no, I’m not going to eat all tonight, I’ll save a couple for breakfast).
Take some puff pastry, cut into small squares, place a piece of bacon on diagonally, top with a slice of cheese, fold the sides over and over cook for 20 minutes or nicely browned. Easy.

This combination of buttery pastry and breakfast staples is a personal weakness. Being European - HA! figuratively part of the old world I’m going to guess this is not a store bought in a foil can ready-to-bake puff pastry you are referring to. Or is it?

I think my ass would jiggle for a week if I ate one of these.
I’ll take 3, please.

Greggs the ba kery make them and there is a supermarket that sells frozen Greggs cheese and bacon wraps, but once you’ve seen how easy they are, they are just so easy to do and make exactly how you want.
But ye’, these are those frozen ones. Lol.

I’m taking a train to see a friend tomorrow so I don’t want to be trouser-coughing or bottie-burping in an enclosed space.

That’s a great idea. I imagine you cold simulate it by stuffing same in a left over croissant if you’re in a hurry. But of course, nothing compares to fresh baked puff pastry.

Meh.
Apparently some in the U.S. call these croissants.
